The Swerve uses two high-powered LEDs flashing at an alternating rate to create a long throw 180° beam pattern. Because the eye must juggle these two beams it doesn’t get a chance to relax, and the result is a very high level of visibility. This technology makes the Swerve one of, if not the most, effective attention grabbing lights in the market. The switch used to toggle through modes extends beyond the perimeter of the light and allows for easy operation even while you are concentrating on other important things. It is on a pivot – the middle is the off position. Move the switch down to activate a flash pattern or up for a steady light. The Swerve has a built-in clip on the backside of the light that attaches to the strap of your hard hat – making it easy to place it on any position around your hard hat to ensure visibility. In addition to use on a hardhat, the Swerve can also be used as a tail light on a bike, effective enough to garner attention even on busy roads.
